01 / Coverage

Use five-digit ZIP codes, separated by commas or spaces. Blocked ZIPs take precedence.

Unknown ZIPs do not receive online availability. The member list has missing ZIPs; coverage can be expanded as those addresses are verified.

02 / Service eligibility

Enabled services and property restrictions apply to both daytime and emergency service bookings.

Wine-cellar appointments are always daytime only, in every ZIP code, with no 8 AM arrivals. Available wine-cellar windows are 10 AM–1 PM, 1–4 PM, and 3–6 PM. This restriction cannot be enabled through the emergency service settings. Wine refrigerators, self-contained wine coolers, and ice machines remain excluded.

03 / Daytime windows

Your four arrival options. The first call is 8:00 AM; the others are arrival windows.

Weekdays have two technician spaces per window; weekends have one. A call with one technician uses one space. A call with two technicians uses two spaces and fills the weekday window. Number of systems does not determine the number of spaces. Weekday emergency windows use the same two-space limit. Live availability counts every scheduled call, including calls without an assigned technician.

This simulates one existing call on the selected date and window. No Service Fusion job is created or changed.

04 / Rolling emergency service windows

Customers do not choose regular or emergency service. Weekdays use the daytime arrival windows, then switch to rolling emergency arrivals when the last daytime window ends (6 PM with these draft rules). Saturday and Sunday are Emergency Service only, for HVAC repairs: central HVAC, ductless mini-splits, and geothermal. Future weekend dates can be booked in advance using 8–10 AM, 10 AM–1 PM, 1–4 PM, and 3–6 PM arrival windows, with one technician space per window. For same-day weekend bookings, rolling arrivals start at the first daytime opening (8 AM with these draft rules) and remain 1–3 hours from booking time until the 8 PM cutoff. Wine-cellar and maintenance visits remain on weekdays. Emergency ZIP restrictions still apply. After 8 PM, open the next available date and show all available arrival windows, including afternoons; eligible weekend mornings offer 8–10 AM for the first arrival and 10 AM–1 PM for the second, and remain Emergency Service. Weekday first arrivals remain 8 AM. Before opening, show all available arrival windows, including afternoons.

The cutoff applies to booking time. A booking at exactly 8 PM can show 9–11 PM; after 8 PM it routes to the next available date with all arrival windows visible. Availability follows your eligible service days and capacity. Holidays, routing, and live staff availability still need integration.

05 / Try a scenario

“Live time” and reload use the current Central date and time. “Daytime,” “Try 7 PM,” and “Try after 8 PM” are simulations. Applying this form uses the preview date and time above; click “Live time” to return to the current clock.

06 / Dispatch & communication

Emergency service recipient: Mark.

Customer: A confirmed arrival window, not a callback to arrange an appointment.

Service Fusion (planned): Customers enter their details manually. Match existing customers by phone number and service address. Create a customer only when no existing match is found; send ambiguous matches for office review. Create one job awaiting manual dispatch.

Technician: Mark contacts and dispatches manually.

Texting: Preview only. Provider, approved message wording, consent handling, and delivery monitoring still need configuration.

Before going live: Office bookings in Service Fusion must immediately reduce the corresponding online window by the number of technicians assigned to that call. A two-technician call fills both weekday spaces; one technician fills the single weekend space. Remove the online window when no technician space remains. Use verified SF job and technician IDs, deduplicate repeated jobs/assignments, and account for overlapping technician commitments. Recheck availability before customer confirmation, including when the customer already has this page open. Server-side validation, atomic booking reservation, retries, and duplicate protection are required.
